Upon thy side, against myself I’ll fight
And strive to put to death the selfish bent
That always thinks that I am in the right
And cannot stand the tiniest dissent.
For so long I have wrestled with this foe
And many times it seemed to have been quelled;
But when I thought it dormant, it would blow
Its top and leave all its surroundings felled.
My dear, please tell me often I am wrong;
With loving wounds strike down my rising pride.
I might not listen fast, but please stay strong,
Until I leave my self-willed ways aside.
Remind me grace is how I've been reborn,
And place my merit in the eye of scorn.
Did you know, that Jesus loves you?
did you know, that He is good?
His grace on Earth, resounds around us,
His place on Earth, is in our hearts
Jesus we love You,
and we adore You;
Jesus Your Love is free
(repeat x2)
Did you know, that mountains tremble,
when they hear, the voice of His Name?
the Spirit's call, brings people to Him,
did you know, that you'll be saved?
He is Love, and He is Glory
did you know, that He is True?
His Sovereign power,
His awesome mercy,
revolves throughout, His glory too
Did you know, God came from Heaven,
down to Earth, to see it through?
for our sins, He was forsaken,
on the cross, with humbleness.
Did you
Some people fascinate me.
They carry the weight of regret and pain on their backs
I ponder why have they not drop them yet
How they have gotten so comfortable
With the weight of death on their backs
They pretend to have stars in their eyes
Speak with a sunshine like smile
Yet their insides are just empty black void.
I wish I can bring them back to the warmth of the sun.
Their past and present hunt them down like a vengeful eternity.
Looping the sins the plague their hearts.
I tried to remind them that their pain are shackles that you already have the key to be free.
Suffocating the peace out of their faith
I place my two arms on their wea

We are here because Jesus Christ didn't say with cold indifference
"Give them what they deserve, they brought it on themselves!"
Jesus Christ IS the Mercy of God!
And seeing us in our misery and need
He doesn't just feel for us
He takes the necessary action to relieve our distress
He leaves the eternal glory of heaven and the perfect fellowship of the Trinity
He condescends to us
Lives among us
Suffers like us
Dies for us!
Do you understand this!?
Have YOU experienced this!?
How then is it possible to experience it and not display it!?
It isn't possible!
You haven't experienced it if you don't display it!
The evidence of God's mercy in y
God, grant me wisdom
To see through Your eyes
God, grant me wisdom
To fight Satan's lies
God, grant me wisdom
To live every day
As though Your returning
Were moments away.
God grant me courage
To seal not my lips
God grant me courage
Help keep me equipped
God grant me courage
To hide not my light
To shine with Your glory
And fight the good fight.
God grant me refuge
When evil assails me
God grant me refuge
When I come to calamity
God grant me refuge
A place of His rest
A haven of safety
When I am oppressed
God grant me hunger
For more of Your truth
God grant me hunger
Though I'm but a youth
God grant me hunger
A yearning for You
A thirst
I struggle and scream
Wishing it all to be a dream
These chains pull me down
Dragging me into the depths of despair
Please Save me
Break the chain set me free
All I see is never-ending strife
Give me the light of life
Where is the light
Where has it gone, nothing seems right
Then I see it, a light
The demons scream at the very sight
They yell out the name Jesus
He rips of my chains leaving me speechless
I have seen the light, it now lives inside me
Sorry Beelzebub I have found the light
"The Lord is good to all, His mercies are over all His works. The Lord sustains all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down. The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and kind in all His deeds. He is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who revere Him, He will also hear their cry and will save them." Psalm 145 (verses 9,14,17-19)
Lord, have mercy --
I have strayed from the path of Your goodness,
I have sought refuge from the pain I have seen around me, I have run away,
Seeking my own comfort and serenity over trials
That would have built my heart like Yours.
I have complain
Crushed and engulfed by sin’s dominion
Unrelenting in its appetite for death
Its sulfuric stench overwhelms
Castigating every soul in its bondage.
I cry for mercy as I am shackled to its towering dungeon walls
The death sentence awaits my impoverished soul
I thought my good deeds would unbind these cruel fetters
But, behold, they are no more but filthy, repulsive rags.
"Escape is futile!” The devil proudly proclaims
My eyes behold the outer darkness
My ears are open to the weeping and gnashing of teeth
I moan, seeing the punishment ahead that I richly deserve.
Then, the shackles fall to the ground, useless to bind
Stretched out
